Vacuuming

Why do I need to vacuum the interior of my car?

There’s a few reasons why you want to vacuum the interior of your car.

For starters, by vacuuming your car’s interior you’re going to prevent damage to your car. This occurs due to the build-up of dirt, dust, and debris that’s dispersed throughout the inside, which leads to gradual wearing and tearing of your car’s upholstery.

We all like to eat in our car from time-to-time and the crumbs that come from our food typically fall in those hard-to-reach nooks and crannies of your car. Apart from the damage that your upholstery will face from the build-up of dirt, you also face possible exposure to mold growth. The longer the accumulation of dirt and dust remains, the greater the chance that you’ll develop allergies and could even become sick. Vacuuming your vehicle regularly is the best option to ensure you stay healthy.

Those two reasons are more than enough to get the interior of your car vacuumed, but for us personally we think you should want to vacuum the interior of your car because we know that you spend a lot of time in your car and we don’t want you to have to drive around in unsanitary conditions. You may overlook it given how busy your day is; however, trust us when we say that unless you recently had it vacuumed the interior of your car is much grosser than you think.

So you know now how important it is to vacuum the inside of your car. Unfortunately, that doesn’t change how cumbersome it can be, especially since it’s such an extensive time process.

In our process, however, we’ve been able to break it down into the essentials:

First, we start with removing all of the large waste from inside of your car. We make sure that we’re getting rid of all the trash in your trunk, underneath your seats, from your glovebox, and even out of the door wells of your car. Apart from being thorough, we also don’t want to accidentally vacuum your valuable personal items, like loose money or your jewelry.

Then we take out and shake out your floor mats.

Here is where we begin to vacuum your car and we do it from top to bottom and front to back to ensure that we’re getting all of the dirt out of your vehicle.

To be as thorough as possible, we use three different vacuum attachments: a soft bristle attachment aka carpet tool, a crevice tool, and an edge crevice tool. The carpet tool allows us to work on several different surfaces, like hard plastic, carpet, and leather. This is useful for removing the surface debris in your car’s interior. Since it works at a surface level, we use our crevice tool for that level of deep cleaning that’s required for the small particles embedded in your carpets. Lastly, we use our edge crevice tool to access those areas that are the hardest to reach.

Using each of these three vacuum attachments, we cover all of your car seats surfaces ( the front, the back, and the bottom) and every part of the interior including the dashboard, the vents, the shift lever, the parking brakes, and even the steering wheel!

We take our time to make sure we’re cleaning every corner and we double-check our work to make sure we don’t miss anything!
